SolveIT Optimisation Platform

To come up with a truly unique optimisation platform — one that would be fast, robust, and capable of handling large-scale non-linear problems — we looked to the latest advances in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and operations research. First we captured the way nature solves problems and embedded those processes into computer algorithms. Then we developed a technology platform that operates on the “survival of the fittest” principle by letting these computer algorithms compete with one another for the best (or “fittest”) solution. The result is the SolveIT Optimisation Platform, which is underpinned by leading-edge implementations of Genetic Algorithms and other Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies.

Because the SolveIT Optimisation Platform consists of multiple optimisation techniques that simultaneously compete and cooperate with one another, the result is superior optimisation performance and completely autonomous adaptation to the specific problem at hand. The platform is easily linked to any objective function, and can be extended to include domain-specific and user-provided algorithms and modifiers.

As the amount of data stored in existing information systems mushrooms, it becomes increasingly difficult to unearth the intricate patterns, trends, and relationships embedded in these databases. Many traditional data mining and modelling methods are often less than ideal for finding non-linear and counter-intuitive trends, and for analysing vast quantities of data in real-time. For these reasons and others, many companies and government agencies have been unable to realise a return on investment (ROI) on their data warehouse.

To overcome these limitations, SolveIT Software has incorporated both classical and non-traditional methods into our “self-validating” prediction platform, including several new branches of Artificial Intelligence (AI). By adapting the different techniques and how they are used, the SolveIT “Self-Validating” Prediction Platform automatically adjusts and self-validates in any time-changing environment and is especially well suited for large and fast-moving data sets.
